This week’s questions were:
- Does flipping “solve” the homework problem?
- How do you address possible issues arising from the lack of technological access?
- What types of videos do your students like best, original or canned? What’s the right combination?
- How has student engagement and subsequently achievement changed since you started flipping?
- How does flipping change your assessment practices?
- Are there any schools out there flipping staff meetings?
- How does flipping stop at videos? Explain.
- Who are some flip “experts” you can go to for help?
For the second week in a row, #OHEdChat was a trending topic (what does that mean?) during the 9:00 EST hour! Jeremy Evans was back in the Moderator’s Chair, even though he was on Spring Break. A theme of all of our chats has been a willingness to ask and propose answers to the question, “But how does this really impact learning?” In fact, that’s not always an easy question to answer.
Have you registered yet for the June 29 #OHEdChat Tweetup Flyer (PDF), sponsored by StateImpact Ohio? If we get a snowstorm (you think it can’t happen?) and have to postpone, we’ll let all pre-registered attendees know!
Thanks for viewing the archive, and to all who participated in #OHEdChat!
Due to so many schools being on Spring Break next week, there will not be an official #OHEdChat on Monday, April 2, 2013. Be watching for your chance to vote in our online poll for the topic for April 9!
